Winter Festival 2024 will begin on December 22nd, 2024

Can You Send Gifts to Friends During Winterfest?
You can send Hero Wars gifts to your Guild during Winter Festival!
Guild Winterfest Tree
Most event tasks during Winterfest rewards Winterfest Baubles, a currency that you use to decorate the Guild Winterfest Tree. This converts the Winterfest Baubles into Winterfest Coins, which you use to buy presents you can send to your guild-mates (or yourself!).
What are the Winter Festival Gifts you can send to your Guild?
The gifts have changed every year, but there are 5-6 total gifts representing different things you can build up in the game (heroes, pets, titans, etc). The largest gift is the Winterfest Skin Gift, which contains a random Winterfest Skin!

What are the Hero Wars Winter Festival Event Tasks?
Winter Festival is actually made up of 4 separate events!
Letter to Winter Claus
Letter to Winter Claus is not really a true Hero Wars event as it is a one-time activity. This event is active for the first 5 days of Winterfest every year. You pick three gifts, and wait patiently for Winter Claus to bring you one of the gifts! In year's past, there have been 2 versions of this "event." The first is for free-to-play players, and includes a "Golden Raid Ticket." This item will allow you to "raid" campaign missions, saving players hours and hours of playtime! In both versions of the Letter to Winter Claus, the option for the hero Cleaver is replaced with 50,000 Soul Coins!
Note that if you are free-to-play, and you choose the Golden Raid Ticket, you are guaranteed to get the Golden Raid Ticket as your gift!
The second version of Letter to Winter Claus is for players who already have high enough VIP that they have unlocked Campaign Raiding already. The Golden Raid Ticket is replaced with Large Skin Stone chests.

Who is the Winter Festival Hero of the Day?
Every day during Winterfest there will be a "Hero of the Day."
Every gift that you send to a guild-mate, you will earn hero soul stones. In past years, you would earn the "NEW WINTERFEST HERO" soul stones as well as the hero of the day's soul stones.
We have confirmation that in 2024 there WILL NOT be a NEW WINTERFEST HERO, so this entire mechanic/activity may be different.

How to get the New Winterfest Skins for 2024?
We know that there are going to be new Winter Skins for 2024!
In past years, the only way to earn Winterfest Skins is randomly via the Skin Gift. Every day there is a repeatable task to send a Skin Gift, and the reward is a Skin Gift of your own! So send one per day day (at least) to a guild-mate, and then send the rest to yourself (if you need them).
