When it comes to leveling up a hero, there are more decisions that have to be made aside from just dumping experience potions and gold into a hero's levels and skills, respectively.
Each hero has 5 glyphs, 3 artifacts, and up to 4 skins to level up as well. And while some heroes are pretty straight forward with their stat priorities, there are certainly some that requires a bit more thought.
Generally speaking, these are the best order to level up a heroes stats, depending on their role:
Tanks
Tanks are the heroes who stand in the front line and absorb all the damage.
Armor/Magic Defense/Dodge
Health
Main Stat
Attack/Magic Attack
Penetration
Damage Dealer
These are your Warriors, Marksmen, and Mages
Armor/Magic Penetration
Physical Attack/Magic Attack
Main Stat
Health
Defenses
Healer/Support/Control
These heroes serve several functions; some will keep your heroes alive, others will control the enemy team, and still more will buff up your team.
